Delete Your Account

Request permanent deletion of your MoneyVote Quest account and associated data.

How to request deletion

To delete your account, send an email to our support team and we'll process your request. Please send your request from the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

Please include the following in your message so we can locate and verify your account:

  • The full name on your account
  • The email address registered to the account
  • Your school or organisation (if applicable)
  • The subject line "Account Deletion Request"

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently remove:

  • Your account and profile information (name, email, role).
  • Your gameplay data, including budget decisions, votes, XP, and badges.
  • Your team memberships and associated activity.

Some information may be retained where required to comply with legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

How long it takes

We aim to confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity. If your account is managed by a school, we may coordinate with the school before removing data. Once deletion is complete, this action cannot be undone.
